Who is the offender in question? Given that subject matter/headline and the unfortunate website url I didn't want to click on the link.

warped tour have just had so many problems with this in the last few years, especially wither their mallcore/whatevercore bands, that it's perfect.

I would never do full grocery shopping trips to Whole Foods, but a lot of their stuff is legitimately awesome. I'm not super close to one so I could definitely see myself buying a few items on Amazon fairly frequently. Totally agree with this. For example, I only buy shrimp from Whole Foods (since it isn't easy to find shrimp elsewhere that isn't from Indochina and/or farm-raised). Whole Foods is also my choice for buying Grimm beers when they're released. Paradoxically, they beat everyone's prices by at least a dollar or two per can/bottle. This article proposes an interesting take about how Whole Foods may possibly offer a final mile alternative for Amazon (the piece also gives a nice layperson's overview of the final mile problem).

That's a really interesting article, particularly this paragraph:
"So imagine the possibilities. You, an Amazon Prime customer, can shop for groceries at Whole Foods on Amazon and then choose an option to pick up the groceries on the way home. (Maybe there’s even a discount for doing so.) And, of course, you might then be offered the option to order a bunch of other stuff on Amazon (a couple books, some socks, garden tools) and choose to pick those things up at Whole Foods at your convenience. And when you go to pick up the goods, you might also drop off a jacket you bought on Amazon that needs to be returned. Whole Foods may well be about to become Amazon’s second user interface."
Pretty smart move by Amazon, and I could see this being successful in urban areas where theft is a real concern with deliveries from online purchases.

Yeah, I wonder (if indeed that is part of Amazon's plan). We've had some package theft in our building (there are typically 20-40 packages delivered on any given day) and Amazon offers the lockbox option in various spots around the area, but as far as I'm aware it isn't a popular choice. Perhaps folks might be more likely to pick up items if they're already stopping at Whole Foods, but it also adds more to the schlep.

I think that bread, juice and perhaps 2-3 items are the only things I ever bought at Whole Foods in terms of grocery stuff (my local organic market is indeed much cheaper and closer too)
But then there is THAT buffet of salads and hot dishes...

They had to put on masks and jump around. How good can your music be if you’ve gotta beat each other up on stage, throw up in your own masks every night…? I mean, music shouldn’t come with a gimmick; music should just be music.

kinda neat interview on the recent Metallica tour and stage setup"There are a few bands still doing it on a level that's similar to back in the day," says Hammett, who says it feels "like 1993 all over again" on this tour but without the bands that seem ready to level-up. "There's Guns N' Roses, Tool, I wanna say Rage Against the Machine, but I'm not sure what their status is right now. But it's weird. Like, what happened to everyone? Did they just fade away, give up? Did they lose interest? Did the audience lose interest? Why did the audience lose interest? There are a bunch of different questions on why they're not here now and why are we."

This also works well as a low-key diss on A7X, who perennially get the Hot Topic crowd to fill arenas but are otherwise inconsequential.

I think I'm old now. Pull my hamstring swimming a week ago and it still hurts. Slept weird last night and my shoulder is killing me. Sat in the hot tub tonight and both felt better for like 20 minutes.
