I've been using the newer Etymotic ones with the the changeable tip lately. They cost a bit more but I figure I'll get longer life out of them. I got a pair of Dubs when Coachella was giving them out and found that they were actually too small to create the proper seal so I must have big ear canals. |

My coworker was able to snag some free VIP tickets (face value is $130) to this fancy whiskey tasting event today for him, me, and two other coworkers. Pretty excited about that
edit- turns out he was only able to snag GA tickets but those are still like $75 ticket and its still free so I'm not complaining |

Dawwwww... My dog was 4 when we adopted him last year, seems like the perfect age. They got all the puppy energy out, and they're just mellow and fun after that.

Django is 4 right now, and he still has energy. But he suffers from separation anxiety, so when he's left alone, he goes ape shit. We're gonna foster her first.

sorry to hear about your pupper :–( sometimes they're more family than our actual families.
we're still waiting to hear about the dog we saw last weekend on if we'll get to adopt her or not. 13 other people have applications in on her.

Sorry for your loss Tim. It feels kind of heartless to say, but nothing replaces the loss of a dog like another dog.
I would not be opposed to a thread where we post pictures of our dogs...just sayin'.

My parent's dog (which I helped pick out when I was 18 years old) is nearing the end. She's 16, and is deteriorating pretty quickly. My parents have pretty much put there lives on hold due to concerns about leaving the dog alone for too long, so perhaps it's time. It's kind of heartbreaking, though. I do hope they get another dog.

I am all about these earplugs, which are basically Etymotics, or used to be, plus they come with a cool little metal cylinder case you can put on your keychain so you never forget them: www.earlove.net/Also they're local. And owned by a lady. And you can put your weed in there. |

so a year ago my dog died and my wife wanted another one, but i was like, whoa hang on let's wait a while. now i think i'm ready and we found a rescue to adopt that's an hour and a half away and may be making a house visit to us this weekend. shit's kinda moving fast, but it's cool. hope we like her and she likes us. now i would have someone else to blame my farts on. the dog was cool, but they adopted her to another family. she needed a dog buddy to play with, and we only want 1 dog for now. disappointed, but will keep looking! |

Not sure if anybody would be interested in this but it's a super cool app id like to pass around. Have a friend that worked on it and it's in beta right now and I have some invite codes. The app is called StationHead and it's basically like a plug DJ app. You create your radio station and can broadcast live. Also has the option to talk between/during the songs and whenever you like. Basically it's your personal radio show. There's also a chat room to interact with people listening to your station. The coolest thing is that it's connected through Spotify so if you have 6 people listening to your station, that song gets 6 streams so it's great for up and coming bands. Think it's going live in about a month but like I said I have some invite codes to send out right now so shoot me a message if anyone wants to try it out Anyone else want to try this out. Forgot to mention the only thing it requires is a Spotify premium account since the stations run with no commercials |
