Refuse to believe that will actually ever get done. We'll probably all just get vouchers again

File Under: Would you rather fight one gargantuan horse or 100 small horses This is true but I feel like if they can break the LN/TM exclusives agreements some of the smaller promoters and ticketing services might stand a chance to carve a small niche instead of being buried.

I had a student transfer in from Philly this semester and talking to him is so disorienting because of that outrageous accent. It's like my brain is working twice as hard.
I think it's the worst accent in the country by a mile

I still have people tell me I have a Chicago accent and I haven't lived there for almost 15 years. Apparently the Chicago accent isn't widely adored, either!

My coworkers are all Texan and I get grief for mine all the time. My girlfriend reminds me I have more midwest country hick in my voice than Chicago though

maybe it's just because i grew up near philly, but i always thought it was just a little lazy/slurred and only affected a handful of words.

Based on the DOJ press conference their intention is a complete breakup of Live Nation. Hope it happens, but this is going to be tied up in the courts for years.

I appreciate the DOJ actually doing their jobs for once (lord knows they have not since 2020) but unless T-Swift announces another tour this isn't going to go anywhere

Essentially 2 tornadoes (without being tornadoes if that makes sense), came through my town this week. Hopefully thats the last of them for the year. Lost two big trees (including the big front yard one) but the house and fence have 0 damage.

Essentially 2 tornadoes (without being tornadoes if that makes sense) Do you mean that they were rotational aspects of severe thunderstorms that didn’t have strong enough winds to qualify for the Enhanced Fujita scale? Or is it too soon after the event and they haven’t been officially rated as tornadoes yet?

So the Rolling Stones today announced they're playing at the Thunder Ridge Nature Arena in the Ozarks in July. It's the last date of their current tour. The venue holds 18K. I'm not gonna go, but I did get to reminisce with some people on Facebook about when they played Columbia back in '94 on the Voodoo Lounge tour (which blew 16-year old zircona1's mind).

Yeah, fairly new. Garth Brooks played there last year and there was a big fiasco having to do with parking and how several hundred people couldn't get in because traffic was backed up. Edit: guess it was 2022, here's a story: www.ozarksfirst.com/news/branson-news/fans-demand-refunds-following-garth-brooks-concert/

That Wu Tang album from 2013 that pharma guy bought and lost? The NFT guys who bought it are playing it in Tazmania in 2 weeks 79 years before the public was supposed to hear it. So that sounds about right

Method Man basically said “waiting 88 years is the stupidest shit”
From what I’ve read, the album is garbage and everyone beside the Rza hates it.
