Here's a partial playlist of my show this morning. Missing "That's How It Goes" by The Breakaways and "Reapin' What I Sow" by Ernie K-Doe. Otherwise, it's all there. Thanks to anyone who tuned in!

Some good stuff I recognize with a bunch of stuff I don't and a very eclectic mix. Nice! I'll set a reminder for next week's showgram.

Any of you ever used a weighted blanket? It’s incredible

I gave one to Mrs. Doso and it has been a big hit. The kids dig it, too. I'm not into it.

I'd imagine waking up in the middle of the night freaking out that there's a weighted blanket on me, so no.

It's when you're under a blanket and your cat sits on you

Well you see, it’s a blanket but it’s heavier. I think it was initially designed for people with sensory disorders. It’s supposed to be good for restless legs and anxiety. It’s really nice. E got one and I’ve used it a little bit. It’s cool

It's when you're under a blanket and your cat sits on you If I wake up and my dog is on me it generally means he really has to shit and needs to get outdoors quickly.

Sounds like it would be a good workout while I'm tossing and turning in the middle of the night

Yeah but I'd look weird walking a cat around the neighborhood and I've never seen a cat that can play fetch.

It's not a weighted blanket per se but I did get a new duvet cover this winter that's a heavy velvet and I was sleeping like crazy under that thing.

The cool thing about this is that it’s not extremely warm, or even really warmer than a normal blanket

"stop trying to make fetch happen" -most cats, probably

Lounging under a weighted blanket is not dissimilar to the sensation of the lead blanket they cover you with during x-rays.

"stop trying to make fetch happen" -most cats, probably I always kind of forget she can do it but then I'll be cleaning or something and toss one of her toys, and then I hear her scamper and suddenly she's dropped it at my feet. She'll repeat it a few times but usually no more than four or five in a sitting.

Our cats will fetch and get really close and then freak the fuck out when we try to take the toy from them. Usually we'll find it later in our shoes.

I am reading The Trainable Cat so I'm hoping to get some other cool tricks out of her.

One of ours comes when he's called which is pretty neat. The other has pudding for brains and probably thinks his name is "jackass" at this point. He can't do any tricks.

A friend of mine has a dog that will chase after a toy that you throw and then hide it instead of bringing it back. Weird dog.

I once had a cat who figured out how to open the bread box and when she did, she removed the bread and went to town on the loaf (through the plastic).

I once had a cat who figured out how to open the bread box and when she did, she removed the bread and went to town on the loaf (through the plastic). If there’s some kind of meat (usually ham or pork) that our cat wants he will sneak around until he gets some and then run the fuck off with it. Shortly after we got him he managed to get away with a third of a pork chop. He also tried to bat a sandwich out of someones hand the other day.

Our cat hides in pots when more than one person besides us is in the house.
