Taylor Dayne is headlining Pride Fest she headlined taste of chicago once, and market days once, so this is a step down. I don't think the market days schedule is out yet, but each yr the music lineup is a little weaker than the preceding yr. |

Schedule is up for Logan Square Arts Fest. I think I can pull off seeing Tunde Olaniran and METZ and still have time to get to LH for Pains of Being Pure at Heart, so that works well for me. www.logansquareartsfestival.com/music/ |

i feel like that fest was way better last year.
might try to see metz but i was planning on going to an all ages show at township that night so maybe i'll just do that.

I ended up seeing a Talking Heads cover band called Start Making Sense through a weird series of events in Toronto this weekend and they killed it. Apparently they're headlining the Roscoe Village Burger Fest and I might actually make an effort to see them again.

i assume it's been covered that Nothing are doing a Beat Kitchen show next weekend around green music fest but i didnt know Souvenirs and RLYR were both opening.

last year when i went it was a beautiful day and there was like no one there. i wasn't there during the headliner, but i imagine it's small enough that it wouldn't be too bad.
i can't go tomorrow but im planning on going sunday to see jay som.

Yeah... Midsommarfest is three blocks from my condo so that would be easier but I kinda want to hear real bands instead of cover bands and I feel like I don't hang out in Wicker enough these days. Might do both, though.

There's also Rock n' Roll Market at East Room, Wells St Art Fest, Blues Fest... this weekend is kind of crazy. Green is definitely the standout IMO, though.
