I am 100 pages into Against the Day and this book is off the chain and I love it. After this I’ll have finished Pynchon’s bibliography. So far Bleeding Edge is the only one I haven’t been crazy about; I hope he’s got another one in him but he’s 81 so I wouldn’t be surprised if this is it.

I finished Chuck Klosterman X last night which I enjoyed, mostly. Moving back to the Beastie Boys Book (which I am honestly having a hard time getting through, it has not gotten any easier to read. it's more like if a coffee table book in long-bio form) One of the Klosterman inclusions was an interview with Jonathan Franzen who I've never read, so I'm going to order The Corrections and probably dive into it soon and see what happens. irvred I have wanted to read Gravity's Rainbow for a little while but it kind of intimidates me

Lol sorry for the huge image. Or should I say uuuuuge. If you want to edit the size of that picture, click edit your post, and then click BBCode. Then look for max width and just edit the percent, maybe make it like 50%?

Is this directed at me? If so, can you be more specific?

Is this directed at me? If so, can you be more specific? I mean Scott Adams is a verified creep and legitimate crazy person on Twitter. He’s also a super climate change denier and a “take that librulllzz” kinda fella. I just don’t understand the desire to read anything he writes. I even used to be a big Dilbert fan but even that feels gross and tainted to me these days.

The book was recommended to me by a friend, and I can't say I'm familiar with anything else he's written outside of Dilbert. But based on his own political views described in the book some of the statements you just made are not correct.

I would say reading the Steve Jobs book is as gross as reading the Scott Adams book and they are both gross!
