if movies are cancelled for the rest of the year, we're looking at: best picturebad boys 4 life color out of space emma. first cow impractical jokers: the movie the invisible man never rarely sometimes always onward sonic the hedgehog best actor:ben affleck, the way back best actress:blake lively, the rhythm section best supporting actress:? best supporting actor:martin lawrence, bad boys 4 life unfortunately, portrait of a lady on fire oscar qualified for last year. I'd nominate Blow the Man Down over Impractical Jokers, but this is the Academy we're taking about.

Naw, but I imagine the rules are going to change anyways. It's on Amzn Prime as of today though, and I highly recommend it.

Add Oscilloscope to the list of indie studios cooperating with the theaters that were supposed to play their films to sell virtual tickets for home screening.

Girlfriend and I watched Monty Python and the Holy Grail last night. I'd seen it lots of times, but it had been years since she had seen it. At the opening credits, she goes, "did I leave the subtitles on?" ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png)

Gonna do a full Cronenberg filmography rewatch. The first two movies are on YouTube and most of the rest are on one of the streaming services if anyone is interested in joining. not gonna do a thread because you guys busted on Sadler during literally the easier time in human history to sit around and watch sandler movies

I was supposed to go to some preview screening of some "big new film" presented by the Telluride film fest in Telluride last week, and it got cancelled because of the virus, but really I just want to know what the movie was going to be. It's going to haunt me. Why couldn't they still just give us the surprise. Thats all I wanted.

I watched The Sweet Smell of Success earlier today which was really throwing off proto Uncut Gems vibes to me. Great movie that I'd suggest folks watch before it leaves Criterion.

Cronenberg Rankings: 1. Stereo ![](https://www.filmexplorer.ch/media/2._stereo.jpg) Barely a movie and mostly very boring but also kinda interesting and hypnotic and it looked beautiful.

w/r/t cronenberg, I've only seen a couple of his movies, and the only ones I like are rabid and a history of violence. the best thing he's been associated with is don mckellar's film, last night, and that movie is great mainly because of sandra oh's performance and pete seeger's best song.

Cronenberg Rankings: 1. Stereo 2. Crimes of the Future ![](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/M/MV5BYWYxOTJiMDEtYTA5Yi00Mjc3LWJlOWEtNjFjZGE4YTNhYWFiXkEyXkFqcGdeQXVyMjUyNDk2ODc@._V1_.jpg) Probably technically a better "movie" despite being pretty similar to Stereo but the icky-stuff was ickier and I preferred the static-ness of Stereo.
