They also announced their June titles. Portrait of a Lady on Fire, The Cameraman, An Unmarried Woman, Come and See(!!!!), and a stand-alone release of Tokyo Olympiad.I was going to mention how my once-out-of-print copy of Tokyo Olympiad was going to go down in value now, but that sounded like #firstworldproblems.

I watched Local Hero which was a very nice movie to watch. It's on Criterion Channel.

Is it known that Criterion has 30% off until 4/30?

i watched Primal Fear last night because i'd never seen it before. but i also knew there was something up with the ending, and obviously knowing that the whole time makes it not a great movie.

Watched Frozen 2 the other night. Good stuff.
Maybe we'll watch a non-Disney movie at some point. Maybe not.

Now huey lewis's dong is in this flick?!? You should watch The Player if you haven't yet. There's a few dozen star cameos in that one.

the cameos aren't nearly as delightful in the player because the movie is a hollywood sendup. (still good though)

Despite loving (to hate) Tim Robbins in this so far, I did not really enjoy The Player at all.

Tim Robbins' dong is briefly in The Player.

Will need to rewatch The Player and assess dong quality
Huey Lewis whipping it out to pee on a dead girl is going to be hard to top

3 Women is an all timer. I haven’t seen very many Altman films that one and Images left me so fucking shook. but i love the Player and it's complete and utter contempt for its own existence

We rented Bombshell last night. While it certainly wasn't good, it was entertaining. Charlize Theron's voice was super distracting at times, and I though Margot Robbie was significantly better.

Charlize Theron's voice in that is awful. So bad. I also agree about Margot Robbie. I think the end of that movie is the worst thing about it, though. Totally felt like it was going for an emotion that was not earned.
