I guess hanging onto A-List was a good thing. AMC Theaters is changing its ticket pricing"Three pricing tiers will soon be offered. For example, the highest-end 'Preferred' tier are in the middle of the theaters and will be priced at a “slight premium” compared to its 'Standard' tier, which the theater chains says will remain the most common choice and will be sold for the 'traditional cost of a ticket.' The third tier is called 'Value,' which are seats in the front row of theaters and will cost less than than its 'Standard' tier." "Sightine also provides customers with an incentive to sign up for AMC’s MoviePass-like subscription program, called Stubs A-List, because members of the monthly program can access the “Preferred” seating at no extra charge."

I still love my AMC Stubs A-List subscription, but I can see where some people will buy the cheap seats and then move to better seats once they get inside.

Knock at the Cabin was good. Really spectacular performances. Still gathering all of my thoughts but I enjoyed it

My biggest complaint with You People is that it should’ve been made in 2014. Its probably worth a watch but like halfway thru you realize the movie peaked with Eddie Murphy’s entrance

the AMC thing is bad but I saw someone earnestly refer to it as a "literal caste system" and I'm a republican now

The new John Wick was confirmed to be 2 hours and 50 minutes long, and with that I also learned the writer of the first 3 wasn't involved with this one and the guy writing this one works with Zach Snyder a lot. And now I've gone from excited for it to worried about it

We saw the new Ant Man today. It was fine for a dumb popcorn movie that we’ll pretty much forget about a year from now. Jonathan Majors should be a great villain for this next arc of the Avengers franchise at least.

This was ok. Just wish it was a little funnier. Decent as a horror movie, though.

This was ok. Just wish it was a little funnier. Decent as a horror movie, though. I enjoyed seeing this in a full theatre. I LOL’d a lot. Dumb, but fun.

I saw Creed III last night. It was okay. I appreciate that Michael B. Jordan tried to do something different with the fight at the end, but I didn't really like it.

Operation Fortune was pretty fun with very low stakes. Yeah, I saw that yesterday and thought it was good enough. Aubrey Plaza was great though.

Help me decide whether or not to see Scream. I haven’t seen 5 yet still but the first 4 rock. I only saw one review but it seemed generally positive

It's Scream...but no Neve Campbell. It's garbage that they didn't give her more money.
5 was way better than I was expecting.
So far the reviews for 6 aren't bad.
This one is supposedly gorier in a way that definitely earns the R rating.

Scream 6 was not very good. I had forgotten how much I did not like the new characters, Sam and Tara. Sam, in particular, I find to be totally uncharismatic. The plot contrivance that brought her into the fold in the last film continues to be unbelievable and stupid. It might work if not for the fact that she plays it so dramatically while the supporting cast, like Courtney Cox, Dermot Mulroney, and Hayden Panettiere, seem to be having some fun. Mason Gooding and Jasmin Savoy Brown prob have the best characters.
And yes, this one is gorier than the others. I didn't need to so much of the stabbing--and there was a lot of stabbing taking place. The excessive stabbing does make for a pretty funny moment towards the end, though.

That's a little disappointing. We are seeing it tomorrow in 3-D. Just got back. Can't say the movie was great or bad. It was ok. However, don't waste your money on the 3D version. It was almost non-existent.

Saw Inside last night. Interesting film with a predictably good Willem Dafoe performance. Definitely strained credulity a lot but I don’t know how realistic it was supposed to be anyway. Definitely recommend checking it out.

I'm going to see A Good Person this weekend. I'm really looking forward to seeing it because Florence Pugh. I'm also kind of scared to see it because Zach Braff.
