I was a big fan of the 80s cartoon, and I didn't think I wanted a funny interpretation of Dungeons and Dragons, but I guess I did. That was fun.

We caught it last week and thought it was a lot of fun. Definitely seems like a movie that would have made a killing on DVD sales in the era where that was a thing. Also noted that it doesn't require any prior knowledge of the game to enjoy, but there are cool little things to notice if you have.

We saw Creed III last weekend. It was fine for a boxing movie, I guess. I dozed off and slept through most of the big fight scene towards the end. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The Tetris movie on Apple TV is fun. There's a couple unrealistic things felt played up for dramatic effect that annoyed me a bit, but I also haven't read the real backstory and have heard it's a wild story so maybe some of the crazier coincidental timing really did happen. Overall nothing incredible but a fine one to stream if you're bored

I just saw Super Mario Bros. I’m not sure it’s all that great of a movie, but I’m a big Nintendo fan and thought it was a lot of fun. It was cool to see the games interpreted for a movie.

Air is really good. Affleck has done it again.

Air is really good. Affleck has done it again. I really enjoyed this as well. Thought there was an overabundance of 80s nostalgia cues, which I think may have been intentional based on it being a film about marketing, but the performances were stellar all around.

Not high art by any stretch, but an entertaining story with a lot of fun performances. Jason Bateman often plays a version of the same character but I always enjoy it.

Air needle drop spoiler I was losing it when it opened with Money for Nothing. Created a lot tension and excitement since I didn't know if Affleck was gonna for it with the second verse or not

Took the kids to see SUper Mario over the weekend, my son is a big Mario fan and he loved it. I would be fine with never seeing that one again. Took a pretty decent nap during it at least.

First time watching this and did not expect it to be good for a modern Hollywood comedy. I'd totally be down for a sequel. The scene where they attempt to get to bullet out of his arm is the funniest thing I've seen recently.

This was fun. There was a livestream Q&A with Nic Cage after and he's an interesting & entertaining dude.

we watched CODA the other night and enjoyed it. although, there were a few scenes where the subtitles moved way too fast. like two lines would be up for literally a second. i'd never put much thought into that before.

Not a huge fan of Jason Isbell, but we watched that HBO documentary about him, and it was pretty interesting.

I had heard they were doing a movie, I guess I'm interested? The first season of Metalocalypse was hilarious, but it really took a nosedive after that.

I had movie posters in my room when I was kid, including this one. I just liked the artwork. I didn't see the actual movie until years later.
