In “updates from my hometown” news, a woman was going to her storage unit a few miles away from where I grew up and a guy accosted her and said “I’ve killed 6 n****** and you’re gonna be my 7th” and he pulled out a knife. She started running down the road, called the police, HIT THE GUY IN THE FACE WITH A FUCKING BRICK and kept hauling ass away from him until the cops showed up and arrested the guy. She said that she’s never going to her storage unit without a gun now and while I definitely am not on the pro-gun train I can’t say I blame her on that one.
Anyways I’m so fucking glad that I moved

Had a small touch of homesickness this week, but apparently in response, the Peoria civic center booked Louie CK for a show.

Out of any private school in the state, Bradley consistently is the most generous with grants/scholarship for our students. Elmhurst is probably next.
Donate $5 to yr alma mater since they are doing good things

Hey that’s where I went to college! the older of my two younger sisters went to Bradley for college, but finished up at NIU, because she and her roommate and her friends partied too much at Bradley. At NIU she stopped partying and just concentrated on taking classes to graduate. |

The owner of one of the bars in one of the whitest neighborhoods in Peoria is chilling on top of the building with a large assault rifle pointing it at anyone and everyone who walks by during the night. The police have determined this is cool and good because he called ahead and informed them of his rights (this is not a joke). The rich part of all of this is that he’s renting the building space from some asshole landlord and he has insurance. Someone that I know posted something on Facebook saying he would not be going to that bar anymore and this dude is probably an asshole and the bar’s official Facebook page shared a screenshot and didn’t censor my friend’s name. He’s being harassed by a million “all lives mater” freaks now. Incredible stuff happening in Peoria
