I guess - this is generally how I use these maps. It's worked out well in the past. I like to have options for the spots we're most likely to hang out. *shrugs*

Nope I've been before. Not sure about the rest of the group. I've been with a pregnant wife and in-laws in the past, so this will be a different experience.

If you go to Royal Palms Shuffleboard, be sure to get ice cream next door at Ample Hills. They have a rooftop space if the weather happens to be decent. Buzz-a-Rama! Interesting choice. Sixpoint began doing monthly small batch can releases last year and they've come out with some cool stuff. If the monthly pick-up Saturday happens to coincide with your weekend, that might be worth a stop. Finally, what time do you arrive on Thursday? We have Elton John on Friday night and Mrs. Doso scheduled a trip back to Chicago Sat-Mon for Bears/Lions, so Thursday night would be my only opportunity to meet up with you at Grimm (or wherever). |

My flight lands at LGA at 5:15 on Thursday. I'd imagine we won't get to our place until after 7 if the cab line is as bad as it was before, and I'm not sure what the plan is after that. I think we may be hanging out around the neighborhood to get our bearings for the first night - I'll let you know once I have more firm plans.
And just to clarify the map - it's basically a depository of all of the places I've come across when researching things to do. Otherwise I'm prone to forget about "that bar I read about" or a restaurant that sounded interesting. I've done basically the same thing for trips to Berlin, Paris and Portland, and it's worked out well so we're never having any issue trying to find something to do or somewhere to eat/drink. Not that I expect that to be a problem in NYC.

I enjoy a good stroll around the park with a cup of coffee. blessings cafe is a full service joint and the food is so good but they also have super sick espresso the roost is in alphabet city, has a bar in the back too rebel coffee in west village is v chill grounded in west village has super sick smoothies and sandwiches, but also p good coffee!!!! |

Looks like the Spiritualized show on Thursday will be performed with Wordless Music Orchestra and the Brooklyn Interdenominational Choir. I have a single seat in Row H for less than face if anyone wants it.

I could hit that to the subway but thats a 90 minute trek both ways according to Google. I'm looking at if I could shave a bunch of time by Lyfting to and from the train stop though
i could also just decide not to drink and drive there and back since I'll have a car but last time I tried to drive around Brooklyn it was the worst thing in the world
