new Ganser is good, on par with their last one. Former lead singer of Yuck - Daniel Blumberg - has a new one out that I actually enjoyed. Alanis has a new one and it's not terrible. Land of Talk has a new one, there's Beyonce visual album. I also just posted a list of stuff from July on the last page.

 This is out on Friday, but I've had it for a few weeks, practically playing it daily. It's stellar. Fans of Mount Eerie/The Microphones/Phil in general will enjoy it, but I'm not too sure many of you will enjoy a 45 minute long song. For me it's up there with Fiona this year. Its for sure an album to put on in a chill setting, and if you're a fan of The Glow Pt. 2, I'd expect this will be right up your alley. The only other release I heard this week was Washed Out, which I'm reviewing, and it's decent. Better than the last one. |
