dont wanna step on Timbo's turf but today is a good day for new tunes. new Primitive Man LP, Cancer (the noise band, not the death metal band,) Thou's collection of covers -- namely Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, and Black Sabbath tracks -- Orville Peck EP, Batushka EP, and there's a new Pallbearer track out  |

 Expressway > Pacific Coast Highway is amazing on here. As are the four Ramones covers as the show's encore. (I'm reading Kim Gordon's memoir this week so been binging a lot of 80s SY yesterday and today - moving into the 90s tomorrow) |

When this was initially announced I was so worried that it would suck. Wasn't a huge fan of The People's Key when it came out (though I do really love some of the tracks still) but I really enjoyed this. Made me feel like I was 14 again.  |

Stereogum lists a whole bunch of good shit coming out this week. High key most excited about Thee Oh Bent Arcana.
Other highlights are Bully, H.C. McEntire, Incantation, No Joy, and Old ‘97s.
