Didn’t know Open Mike Eagle had a new one. Been enjoying it so far too, like it better than the last one

There’s no way this Alvvays album is as good as people are saying it is. Check back in like 3 hours to see if I’m right it is Good but it can’t be that good if pitchfork is currently overshadowing it on their webpage with a King Geodorrah review from like 2003 I still have to get to that, today's another big album release day. Nnamdi, King Gizzard, Daphni, Peel Dream Magazine and a bunch of others too

Another good entry in the "person talking over post-punk band" genre

New record from Winston Cook-Wilson's band, would highly recommend for any of the 80s sophistipop fans on the Board (i.e. Blue Nile, Prefab Sprout). It didn't really hit for me until the second half, but the run from "Little Reminders" through the excellent closer "Rules" is sublime.

Listen I’m a crabass and I hate whatever the kids are generally into but I’m shocked at how much this steve lacy guy has caught on. I never wanna talk to anyone under 25 ever again

Barely a blip on the radar that Fucked Up put a new one out. They're at least trying to sound more like David Comes to Life, it's not too bad

Listened to this one yesterday for the first time in a long while. Still holds up. Looking back on my high school experience I was a stoner without even really smoking back then

Just listened to the new mars volta album, boy did pitchfork really nail it Probably my least favorite album of theirs while at work, I also listened to noctourniquet, octahedron and bedlam in goliath... and yes... the new album is definitely my least favorite out of the 4 most recent albums (i think i'll listen to their first three abums on Monday at work)

New 1975 is all bangers no skips I just flipped this on but the first song is like they forced “all my friends” to enroll in an MFA program Edit- aside from that jarring intro song I actually quite enjoyed this

Can already tell this Red Hot Chili Peppers album is gonna be the worst thing I listen to this week.
Edit- the one from earlier the year is actually ok but this was pretty clearly put out to get out of a label contract/agreement

I don't know how she keeps doing it. I listened to this last night and liked it lot. Apparently I need to listen again because she dropped a version with 7 more songs after I went to bed.

And the 7 songs are absolutely worth it too. Would've Should've Could've is one of my favorites on the whole thing
