Best KC pizza I've found is Papa Keno's for a drunk slice / "the pizza experience", Caddyshack cooked well-done for groups / parties, and any of the white pizzas at Il Lazzarone for the more Italian take There's a Papa Keno's in Lawrence that got shut down b/c the owner was dealing coke. But the pizza was great! And I just now think I realized why it was so great. I'm right over in Midtown/Westport so the one on Westport Rd gets a lot of my money. I've gotta go right past it to get home from virtually every bar I go to. Still wanting to try - Haha's on Main Waldo Pizza KC Kitchen & Pizzeria on Southwest Tfwy (I've heard extremely mixed reviews) Still haven't had Pie Five but it doesn't really appeal to me; there's one right around the corner so I'll try it eventually I'm sure

Waldo is super popular, and their ingredients are great. I just have to ask for extra sauce typically.
Pie Five is good for what it is - quick, cheap, easy. I don't crave it though.

A white pizza from Piece with clam and bacon is one of my favorite things ever.
I also like Pequod's 'cuz of the layer of lacy charred cheese around the crust. My favorite from them is spinach and mushroom.
D'Agostino's is good, but you can only have one or two ingredients on it, otherwise, the crust can't stand up to it.
I like the specialty pizzas at Roots, but for some reason, I don't consider them "real" pizza.

The only pizza I've ever had from Piece was the Hot Doug's one. It was good, but I'd like to go back to actually try something else.

I can't wait for you to not like Girl and the Goat. Can't be any worse than Au Cheval. Taco Bell was great. Except for my spicy potato tacos where they didn't put any sauce in it and the potatoes were totally overcooked and basically hard and hollow. Even I couldn't eat it.

We have this in Columbia, it rules: shakespeares.com/For cheaper stuff, I like Gumby's and Papa Murphy's. I've had Lou Malnati's and Giordano's. Both I thought were equally good. Piece was good too.

Do people have a favorite slice spot in Chicago? I never found a by-the-slice place I really liked, but also only ever knew of Bacci, Rosatis, the like.
