Do people have a favorite slice spot in Chicago? I never found a by-the-slice place I really liked, but also only ever knew of Bacci, Rosatis, the like. i assume its regional based on what neighborhood you live in but I just go to dimos

Have any of you tried Pizza and Poke? My coworker is from Brooklyn and insists it's the best NY style slice here.

Dimo's chicken waffle pizza is pretty much my favorite right now.

dimo's is the most hit or miss when it comes to their weird slices. chicken and waffles or buffalo or bbq chicken are all consistently great. everything else is all over the place in terms of quality

I can’t eat pizza too often either, but my favorites in our hood are Marie’s and Vini’s
I also really like Piece. Haven’t been to Pequod’s, but it’s on my list for this summer.
Best in the burbs are the stand-alone Aurelio’s locations (Homewood, Mokena) and Enrico’s in Frankfort.
Hate Lou’s.

Tried the mac and cheese once, what was I thinking Bacci was always my neighborhood slice but it wasn't what I really wanted. Bacci slices are just too big. A "by the slice" pizza place, to me, is somewhere I can grab a slice and walk with it; Bacci is a little over the top.

There is a spot called the Art Of Pizza here in KC, walking distance from work, and I got so excited and went and got their lunch special!!!!! and it sucked.

Is the new Aurelio's by Wrigley any good?
I have had Vito & Nick's and Marie's which I thought were just ok but the experience was interesting. Fun story one time my friend was very excited to take me for a surprise birthday dinner which turned out to be Vito & Nick's which I had never expressed any interest in visiting but she was very excited about after seeing it on Check, Please.

I'll reach out to the Chicago location and recommend they begin legal proceedings to force the KC location to change their name to avoid further confusion going forward.

i'm surprised that pizza art has not yet been mentioned. i know it's taken a dip the last couple years and the service has always been bad, but the pizza is still pretty good.

Quattro stagioni pizza - like they do it in Italy, with a super think and crispy crust, parma ham, marinated artichoke, mushrooms etc.
