Actually I take back my earlier post. Both Lucky Boys Cofusion and Plain White Ts were less regrettable than seeing The National.

The National - 9 times Kanye - 7 times (Plus a dj set) Bloc Party - 7 times Danny Brown - 7 Times Kendrick Lamar - 7 Times Julien Baker - 6 Times Father John Misty - 5 Times Passion Pit - 5 Times Vince Staples - 5 Times LCD Soundsystem - 5 Times Radiohead - 4 Times Chance - 4 Times The Weeknd - 4 Times The Drums - 4 Times The xx - 4 Times Paul McCartney - 3 Times Foals - 3 Times Crystal Castles - 3 Times The Cure - 3 Times Interpol - 3 Times I think that's it for 3+. I feel like RtJ is 3 but I can only remember 2. 90% of those are fest sets. What was the Kanye DJ set like? Pretty dope. It was kind of a surprise after the Famous music video viewing in LA and the crowd was awesome. Plus it was great to have him play Pt. II and have Desiigner there going crazy.

Y’all have good memories for this shit. The Smoking Popes or The Hold Steady are most for me? I have no idea how many though, 8 each? My memory is for shit. My spreadsheet, on the other hand, is in good shape. You may notice many on this board referring to the TK or Trapper Keeper - it's an informal reference for a list of bands seen live in concert. Many of us on the board have a spreadsheet (or an actual handwritten log).

I have a phone note with all of mine and the emotional labor of switching to a website sounds exhausting

I have a phone note with all of mine and the emotional labor of switching to a website sounds exhausting I sat down and made a day out of this around 2013 sometime. It was a pain, but it was also kind of a fun trip down memory lane. I'm also a big statistic/data nerd so I really enjoy having all that info in one place.

Not including local acts I've seen Ted Leo and the Mountain Goats probably 25ish times
I've seen Wilco and Titus Andronicus 15-20 times
Seems like alot but I started seeing all of those acts when I was 14-15 and I still see all of them live and they all play Chicago 3-5x a year (or new york when I lived there)

I don't believe I've seen any band 10+ times. The National, Paramore, Muse, and Metric are all probably the closest? Wilco, too.
Never seen Phish nor do I plan to.

I'm not opposed to seeing Phish, but I'm almost certainly not going to pay to see Phish.

$7 + indoors would be the perfect Phish storm.
A Phishnado, if you will.

i saw phish once at acl '10 and they played 2 hours which was great since i didn't fall asleep, because i saw grateful dead in '85 and they played for 3 1/2 hours and i fell asleep during the drum solo.
maybe this should turn into a thread of bands you've fallen asleep to?

I don't track but for my bigger bands they have all the shows listed on their websites so periodically I'll go through and do a count.

I fell asleep to the Feelies at P4k last year. I don't know if that has ever happened anywhere else.

I almost fell asleep on the bench during Beach House at P4K 2012. It would have been totally acceptable because I'm pretty sure they almost fell asleep as well.

Oh and I legit took a power nap during Foster the People at Lolla 2014. That was the last year I snuck vodka in.
