Come on mothers throughout the land, Pack your boys off to Vietnam. Come on fathers, and don't hesitate To send your sons off before it's too late. And you can be the first ones in your block To have your boy come home in a box.

sorry if i missed where you said this but are you going to vietnam just for fun or for something or what?
also irt my travel plans for the year im leaning a little less towards going to Europe this year and if I don't I'm definitely making at least one trip out to some city I've barely been to/havent been to and that'll be an east coast city (well really whole east half of the US) since I'm on the west coast a lot for my job. The only two I've extensively been to in the east are Chicago and NYC. My shortlist right now would probably be Washington DC (been once but I was in middle school), Boston, Philadelphia, and Nashville. Any one of those you guys would particularly recommend, or another city you guys would recommend? It'd probably be a Wednesday or Thursday to Sunday trip wherever I go.

Anywhere on the east coast or just the north east? I'd say anywhere. I've only been to Florida to go to Disney World and Universal. I've just wasn't thinking about it as much as an option but it definitely is I might already be going to Atlanta for Shaky Knees though so I dont know if I'd do there

If you come to Nashville I've got a couch and air mattress with a hole in it, your choice. But yeah Vietnam is just for fun. Two weeks, looking like 4-5 days in Hanoi, 2-3 in Sapa , 3 motorbiking throughout Ha Giang , and then Ha Long Bay

lot, we really love Boston, I got to back there on a big road trip 2 years ago, and it's a really good time. Tons of historical stuff to see on the Freedom Trail, great to walk around Harvard, plenty of great food options. Very easy to get around the city with their train system as well.
We went to DC last year for the first time since I was like 15, and that was really great too. Lots to see in all of the museums, again plenty of great food choices too. Just be prepared to do a ton of walking.

what's the point in going to a punta cana beach if you can't walk barefoot

Well considering the above, I'd stick to flip flops... Mind you, Punta Canada is probably also one of the least beach destinations I'd ever want to go I've got a colleague who is heading there tonight though, in fact, to that very one resort I think

Going to be roughly an hour outside of Seattle in Marysville in a few weeks for work. Mildly annoyed since there's multiple stores I could have got sent to and I happened to get put on the one furthest out of the city, but eh
I figure I'm gonna drive into the city one of the nights probably for dinner and maybe just to see it. Any restaurants I gotta check out? I'm willing to go a bit big on price if I'm only going in for one night. I'll also be really close to Everett if there's anything there to see
Don't care about drinks, I'm not drinking this month because of having been sick
edit- might be staying in Lynnwood too which'll make it even easier to get to the city

I love this place: pineboxbar.com/Great beer, which maybe doesn't matter to you, but the food is good too. It is a former funeral home.

i went to bogota for a long weekend. it was way too short of a trip, but enjoyable except for weather keeping us from getting to montserrat.
botero museum was a delight. food was very good. we thought it was a nice walking town. plus, their bus system is bonkers.

I don't know anything about baseball but the one time I went to Coors Field we sat right near first base and that was pretty cool. I think you're facing west so depending on time of day it could be glare or a nice sunset.

the city skyline is behind the stadium, so you won't get a view there like at pnc, busch or target. but first base side out to right field should give you a sunset view for a night game.
if you sit behind the plate underneath the pressbox, they throw out boxes of crackerjack during the 7th inning stretch. that's a pretty cool thing.

First base side lower level - you can actually get a good deal if you're further down the foul line. You'll have the best view of the mountains in seats on that side of the ballpark.
