I totally agree - I have yet to see anything from Trubisky to suggest he's the franchise QB the Bears clearly believe he is. Even accounting for him being a rookie and an absence of weapons, he was awful last season.

I gave him a bit of a pass last season because it seemed like they didn't really want him to throw much which isn't his fault. But when he did throw, I didn't see much that inspired hope or confidence.
So stupid that they could have taken Watson or waited a year and perhaps taken someone decent from this draft class.

Everything about the Raiders is hilarious right now. They also cut Martavus Bryant, the guy they just traded a 3rd rounder for
They are going to want to fire Gruden in 2-3 years but won't be able to because of how much money they gave him.

The best part of that trade is how the bears were able to pull a 2nd round pick as well

The best part of that trade is how the bears were able to pull a 2nd round pick as well I mean they basically traded up from a 3rd round pick to a 2nd round pick. Mack is obviously incredible but there is a 0% chance this trade works out if Trubisky isn't great very soon.

Oh absolutely. I love the deal overall though. I'm was optimistic about the team before that but obviously some pieces on offense have to fall into place.
Unrelated, but Jerrick McKinnon tore his ACL and is done for the year

The Bears gave up way too much but now I'm excited for Bears football so I'm okay with that.

That first paragraph is written as if the author had to Google "football" before writing the article.
The Buffalo Bills were the best. This was in 1990, 1991, 1992 and 1993—for four whole years, they crushed the other football teams.
They had stars all over the field—quarterback, running back, wide receiver, defense
Genuinely surprised he didn't list off all of the positions.

The Smokin' Jay meme is one of my all-time favorites and I'm guessing whoever created this iteration meant for it to be funny. For me, though, it really hammers home the juxtaposition between those who display courage and those who cowardly coast on their privilege.

Brutal loss. Mack put on a clinic, too bad it was wasted.

Also the Bears were fun until the Packers started scoring and then it looked like they had no idea what they were doing.
