scoots I'm particularly interested this season to find out if Trubisky is good or not (though we might not know for sure until the end of next season). I'd heard he was struggling with learning Nagy's playbook in camp, so they scaled back the offense for him - not sure if this is true. Last night, he came out of the gates looking very sharp, but then his execution seemed to take a nosedive. I'm wondering if he just practiced the fuck out of the scripted plays to open the game (assuming that they scripted enough plays to cover the first two or three drives). Then after that when he had to execute the plays as they were being called, maybe that's where he was struggling if he truly doesn't have a great grasp on the playbook.

Packers switched to a zone in the second half and they were able to shut everything down - also didn't help that Nagy went conservative to try to hold the lead.

Hi, just checkin in to say that, although I missed yesterday's Browns game, it sounded fucking hilarious and get ready for our 15-0-1 season. Welcoming all Bears fans who want to jump ship to our bandwagon!

I've been a low-grade Tyrod apologist for the past two or three seasons, but they really need to get on with it and start Mayfield.

Truthfully, the best thing they could do would be to heal this nation by going 0-0-16.

Nice bounce back game for the Bears. Looks like a legit top 5 defense, Mitch still has a long way to go though.

Mitch had some flashes of brilliance in that game, but then undid all the good work with a couple of real bad mistakes. I'm optimistic though, I think you can see the talent there, he just needs to make better decisions sometimes.
Our defense on the other hand...they are looking scary.
It feels good to be at least somewhat optimistic about the team again...it's been a long time.

I agree it's good to have optimism again. If they can even be decent on offense the D looks good enough to carry them.

Jets beat the Lions. Browns beat the Jets. Therefore, the Browns are better than the Lions.

omg. all my ou friends are freaking the f out about baker leading the browns to a win. i was hoping i'd heard enough of the baker hype when he went to the browns, but nope.
(to clarify, i'm a lifelong okla state fan and pretty much dislike anything ou. except wayman tisdale.)

Bears open up the season with Green Bay, then Seattle. I'd just drop that defense now and find a better streaming option. is this the worst advice in the history of this board? Leaning towards yes
