I love that irvred liked neader's e coli story. It is a great story. Also don't think I've ever told the board about it which is surprising. i think you told us during the major chipotle e coli outbreak ~2 years ago - i specifically remember you urging people not to eat at chipotle i consistently missed this advice as i was breezing through lines in record time at chipotle

I don't think I've ever purchased cheesy garlic bread.
Sometimes I butter and toast bread thats about to go stale and put some garlic powder on it. I may have at some point also put cheese on it. Mayo has not happened.

I am not intensely anti-mayo but saying its part of a signature dish in Peoria Illinois is not exactly a glowing endorsement.

I just read that whisking a dab of mayo into an egg wash when you're breading something helps the breading stick much better - can confirm. Pretzel-breaded fish last night was a success.

"mayo is a good binding product for pretzel breaded fish" is where i officially assume that i am being punk'd.

How on earth could it be difficult to conceive that mayo would help bind breading?
As discussed, it's eggs and oil. Could there be a better binding agent for breading / frying?

You also don't lather the fish with mayonnaise, you mix about a half a tablespoon of mayo with one egg and whisk it. It's not like we're eating this shit with spoons.

Yellow mustard is objectively inferior to brown.

Yellow mustard is objectively inferior to brown. There's only one place yellow beats brown, and its at a baseball stadium otherwise this is correct

I was specifically upset that Wrigley did not have spicy brown mustard available this year, after having it in 2017. Ruined my pretzel.
