It's a bummer because I think it should instead inspire frat bros to wrestle their best friend naked in a hotel room

Trying to narrow down to my absolute favorites and I think I'd pick Children of Men, There Will Be Blood, In Bruges, Her, and the Lord of the Rings trilogy

Thanks Came up with that last 5 years ago.. have quickly added Leviathan, but would probably need to revisit it a tiny little bit more based on striking movies (old or recent) Ive watched since then.

sick2b did u really think "a clockwork orange" was made post-2000 Duh! You didn't read my post, did you? I said "Too lazy to do a list of my own, but mine would definitely have a good chunck of the bosma's movies + whichever of the following ones were made in the 2000s " This is (was) my list of favourite movies when I last compiled it in 2013 (I only quickly added Leviathan for now). Not my list of 2000s movie Hence why it contains so few of them

Just throwing some shit at the wall, no particular order other than a google search tool:
The Dark Knight No Country for Old Men Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind Memento The Departed Lord of The Rings Trilogy Almost Famous Inglorious Basterds Wall-E Finding Nemo Lost in Translation Slumdog Millionare The 40 Year Old Virgin Curse of the Black Pearl Idiocracy Shrek 1 & 2 Monsters Inc. The Simpsons Movie Corpse Bride Anchorman Superbad Borat Wet Hot American Summer Dodgeball O Brother, Where Art Thou March of the Penguins Letters from Iwo Jima Gangs of New York Remember the Titans Lilo & Stitch Up School of Rock Final Destination The Ring (500) Days of Summer Adventureland In Burges
2010s (grammar post!)
The Town The Dark Knight Rises The Force Awakens Kick-Ass Toy Story 3 Rouge One Coco The Lego Movie Inside Out Get Him to the Greek The Act of Killing Whiplash The Social Network Argo The Muppets Get Out Arrival Super 8 Lady Bird 3 Billboards Outside Ebbing, MO
Bold are probably what I'd include in a best of list depending on the day
I don't see a lot of movies so if you ask me about why something isn't on there that's probably why

Oh, and a Borat take since I'm apparently the only one with it on there?: You can't look at this list and tell me it's not amazing. I also classify it as a movie you need to see once. I saw it when I had no sense of half the shit going on in the world which would lump me into the racist mob that latched onto it. And frankly, with his new series out, I think we'll still be looking at it (and the Ali G show) for a while to come.

Shit I haven't seen 7 of your top 10. EDIT: 8! Have seen 7 out of 10, and 12 of Andrew's top 15 And 11 of Bosma's top 15 Mind you, also I do very much share and value these two boarders' tastes in (and thus takes at) movies. And most of my life I've lived a short walk away from movie theaters showcasing foreign and independant movies, which definitely helps
