Seems like they're all just going to go to Inforoo. I don't know anyone on that board and def think it would be weird to have a bunch of newcomers.

My only real balk with inforoo is the accepted use of massive gif signatures, and the use of the word filter for profanity over humour. Very chagrined about that.

Inforoo was okay. Never did the Chella board b/c .. well.. never went to Coachella. Only reason I joined the original board was b/c I was going to Lolla that year (2009).
Which reminds me, I need to change my vote to Kanrocksas at some point.

Maybe they need to close the Coachella board because they are announcing on January 1st that Phish is the JT replacement

Chella board was helpful for camping advice when I first started going, and used to be a decent source for rumors and "I talked to member of X band" kinda stuff, but it fell off. Inforoo is happy to have the new blood, and seems like they will probably add some dedicated subsections for Coachella so they can keep their scheduling projects and such alive.
Unless there are some serious surprises in the line-up, this will probably be my first time skipping out on the trip to Indio since 2012. The disinterested crowds and less adventurous line-ups just aren't worth the rising costs anymore coming from the east coast.

Everyone is really lame, but very friendly. I still come over here for tour info, new album info, and just general fun reading. I think people over there are too friendly. They lock any arguments, they lock drug threads, they lock anything that is not all roses and sunshine. I think Lolla will be fun, just different than Coachella. I tried to discuss that and they nicely told me to STFU.
Boy have things changed!

sorry fam  money/pto issues. primarily cause i wanna book a trip (hopefully europe) for the bf's graduation. and i do still love this fest but idk if they can top Beyonce as a headliner and most of the #rare stuff i was hoping for is very quickly falling through. we're gonna try to swing by denver again in the spring or summer tho! |
