I did not expect this board to like this lineup but I love it (also sad to hear Ariana is not great live but I have some hopes for her show I hold tickets to lol)

Also this is...fine. 11/13/12 - but I'd be most excited to go to Friday? It's good but not good the way Coachella normally feels. Here's hoping Janelle / Paak / Rosalia / Solange / Kaytranada / Pusha / US Girls continue to hit the fest circuit. Otherwise this may be a long summer of announcements...
Edit: I change my mind, there's enough acts here that I would have a great time at this fest. Ofc it's not worth the $$$ to get out there from the east coast, and I worry that if some of the more interesting acts above skip fest season, there may be a lot of retread this year.

I think I count 6/4/5 for me, which actually isn’t horrible compared to past years. Plus glad it seems to be a very female heavy lineup.

Can someone explain to me what/who Gucci Gang (Sunday, line 4) is? Is Pump skyping in from jail? Are they cutting out the hypeman routine from Lolla and just letting the track play on loop for 45-minutes? Is this some kind of soundcloud rap Superjam?

I know someone will comment that it’s about poster layout, but they’re really going to put Hop Along 2nd from the bottom line on their day? there's a lot of questions about billing (which i know we say every year, but) -i cant believe Gesaffelstein has blown up that much with kids since he came back. that feels like Paul putting his finger on the scale -i know Iceage is by no means 'big' but a band that well reviewed for 3 or 4 albums now being basically on the bottom line is kinda wild even for this fest -i have no idea what an Idris Elba set is but burying him (and Charlotte actually) seems like a waste of probably lots of money -wasnt wiz khalifa a sub at lolla and roo? |
