Woj was tweeting earlier that if they wait to make the trade official July 30th they'd have up to 32.5million available. but all signs appoint to July 6 as the processing date

Slightly worried about Kemba being lured, but he would have to be willing to take a lot less money to go live in LA, which would be awful.

Even with all the Celtics turmoil, didn't really expect Horford to want out

CP3 wants out of Houston apparently
this off season might be wild even with the KD and Klay injuries!

The Rockets have already made him available, that contract is going to be a problem though.

I honestly don't know where all this reporting is coming from but every Rockets beat reporter, Daryl Morey, and CP3 himself are all denying the CP3/Harden beef and trade thing.
That being said, I don't hate getting out of that contract if we aren't giving up many/any assets to do it. But I also don't mind just running it back and maybe changing up the system to focus less on iso ball, which they already reportedly plan to do.

man i've got a soft spot for cp3... his rookie year was when new orleans relocated to okc for most of the season because of hurricane katrina, and then they stayed a second year also. this was before he became a griping flopper.

As disagreeable as his on-court demeanor is, unfortunately not liking cp3 makes you a scab

the jazz might now be the team everyone thought they were going to be last year

He's gonna fit really well on that team, and they got him without really having to give up anything of significance (which makes sense with that contract). The Jazz could be a bit scary next year
Next year is going to be the most exciting NBA season in a long time I feel like.

Here's a segment on how Rob Pelinka didn't know how the salary cap works prior to making the Anthony Davis trade:
And LaVar can't go on ESPN anymore. Who is the real winner? That's right, us.

Very glad the Sixers dumped all four of our second rounders. Need that flexibility to sign Amir Johnson's ~veteran leadership~ to another vet minimum

Consensus I’m reading about is that Coby White could be anywhere from ok to good, so....ok?

I like the pick. I have no idea if this group of dudes will actually be able to win any basketball games, but I'm very cautiously optimistic that things are trending in the right direction.

"After last night's draft, the Pelicans have turned AD into Brandon Ingram, Lonzo Ball, Josh Hart, Jaxson Hayes (8th Pick), Nickeil Alexander-Walker (17th pick), Marcos Louzada Silva (35th pick), 2021 LA pick, 2023 Swap, 2024 or 2025 pick, and a Solomon Hill salary dump."
I kind of love what the Pelicans are doing. They just pulled off a full rebuild in one off-season. And they have like $32 million in cap room.

I feel pretty confident in saying this will go down as the Hershel walker trade of the NBA

Judging by social media commentary, Hornets fans are pissed. Half the folks wanted Bol Bol. I'm gonna assume the dude dropped to the second round for a reason.
