Is there any reason the Bulls or someone like Orlando/Phoenix shouldn't make an offer for him? Yes he is due 10 million dollars next year and shoots a basketball like this: Oh, you're one of those people who think the Bulls will make good use of their capspace. Nevermind.

In theory, Lamb and MKG's expiring contracts get the deal done numbers-wise. Charlotte would then have to start tacking on draft picks and/or their young studs (Bridges/Monk).

Oh, you're one of those people who think the Bulls will make good use of their capspace. Nevermind. You asked for reasons they shouldn’t do it, not “they’ll probably package this year’s first rounder to get him, huh?” From what I've heard, it doesn't seem likely that any team would be willing to trade a first round pick for Fultz at this point - at least without heavy protections. I think Philly would be happy to rid themselves of that salary in exchange for a player on an expiring contract who can help them compete for a championship this year and allow them to use cap space to add a 4th piece to their Simmons/Butler/Embiid core in the summer. This is probably the last summer where they'll have major cap space aspirations, since Simmons will get expensive in the summer of 2020 when he's a restricted free agent. The Sixers have already exercised Fultz's nearly $10 million option for next season, so that would eat into that cap space considerably. But if you're a rebuilding team, you can afford to take a look at Fultz this season and into the summer to see how his shot/health/mental state are progressing before deciding what to do with his 4th year option near the start of the season next October. I'm not sure if the Bulls are still set on Dunn as their PG of the future, but I've always seen him as more of a third guard type (a la Marcus Smart) anyway. Phoenix doesn't have a single PG on their roster, and Orlando is using some disgusting combination of DJ Augustin and Jerian Grant. I just think it's worth the gamble for a guy who is still only 20 years old and was basically the unanimous #1 overall pick just 18 months ago. I think an change of scenery would be a good thing for Fultz as well.

I watched the entire Bulls/T-Wolves game last night for no reason, and Wiggins literally had the worst game I've ever seen. Kinda sad but Josh Okogie should really be getting more minutes than Wiggins at this point.
Also Wendell Carter has been pretty awful for a while. His FG% ranks 20th out of 25th for centers, and the guys below him all launch a ton of threes (with the exception of Myles Turner). He had absolutely no chance against KAT defensively last night too.

That Hornets win last night was a nailbiter. They're sure great at blowing immense leads and bringing it down to the wire. Over it! Good win, though.

I’d say it’s amazing GarPax still have their jobs, but it’s the Bulls so...

Hoiberg had an impossible job - I can't even blame him all that much. Remember when GarPax wanted a high octane offense with good shooters to complement Hoiberg and instead gave him Rondo and Wade? That was fun. Or hey, let's put together the worst defensive roster in the league and see how that works out.

Yeah, I don't have hard feelings toward Hoiberg at all. He shouldn't have had the job to begin with.

Really shitty game tonight but I do appreciate Fake Jim Boylan trying out Lauri at the 5 for extended stretches.
