Isn't the Jay Reatard normally a smaller drink and that's why they weren't offering it in the souvenir cup? The bar I just stopped at gave me a full souvenir cup of it. Is it a Riot Fest Sucks cup like last year??? |

Fest was packed today. After Hot Snakes every crowd was huge. It felt oversold honestly.

Thankfully, the front right corner of Flaming Lips sounded great, but yeah, main stage sound was off from VF on.

I told my buddy I should have seen Rancid with him because of tht sound issues at flips and he said that sound was bad at radicals as well.
I still had a blast but here's hoping Riot gets these sound issues worked out by tomorrow.

I think the wind made a big difference in the sound unless you were close, which I never was. Still a great day.
Jawbreaker, Rancid, Cock Sparrer, Hot Snakes, Angel Du$t ruled
HWM, Femmes were very good
Dashboard was a weird thing to have been a part of.

V bizarre I was close and center for Enema and it sounded fine...I ran to Jawbreaker for their last few songs and then watched Blink's last few songs from the middle of the field and it sounded like crap....it was so quiet and bassy. |
