*The rules are each week we listen sequentially to a different Jimmy Buffet album starting with "Down To Earth" and concluding with 2016's Christmas release "Tis the SeaSon" and discuss in this thread.
*This will begin Tuesday, October 23rd 2018 and ending 29 weeks later on Tuesday May 7th 2019.
*On Saturday, May 11th, 2019 we will meet at the Navy Pier Margaritaville at 2 P.M. in our finest vacation gear and discuss our findings and top 5 lists. We will enjoy margaritas and cheeseburgers (in paradise)
*Following our time at Margaritaville we will do the Mirror Maze and maybe the speed boat depending on weather.
Is there sufficient interest?

Margaritaville is the worst restraunt on navy pier, but the mirror maze is A+ so I’m torn
The best jimmy buffet album is “license to chill” and there is nothing anyone can do or say to convince me otherwise

Does anyone else remember the chain restaurant concept ‘Cheeseburger in Paradise?’ It was started by the Outback Steakhouse bros and was exactly the same as an Outback except they had parrots instead of boomerangs on the walls. And they had lots of Heinz 57, because of the song. It used to be a big deal here when I was like 12-15 but closed down.

It's important to note that participation in the thread does not mean you have to commit to coming to Chicago in May but certainly would hope you would.
It's the goal that everyone is an active participant in discussion so we can keep things going strong and have a participant ranking of the Buffet albums for some sort of ranking reveal at the party!
