Seems like the craft lager/pilsner thing is a national trend. I've sampled quite a few over the past year or so and while they're all generally more flavorful than your average macro, I still find the style to be thoroughly unremarkable.

I haven't heard of the undercarbonated beer trend.

The undercarbonated beer pertains more to stouts. Apparently folks don't like having head in their beer, I don't know.

Sounds pretty stupid.

Maybe some people drink a barrel-aged stout and think, "I wish the regular stout was just like this except without the barrel-aged flavor".

If it's casked or on nitro, that's the point. Otherwise I don't think it makes much sense.

The new Marz space kicks ass. Pretty solid food as well.

Lo-Rez is having a 1st Anniversary Fest on June 9th with other beer from Whiner, Marz, On Tour, and Hopewell.
Glad to see a lot of these new, smaller Chicago breweries succeeding.

Our neighborhood brewery Cerebral poured at the Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen this weekend. It's awesome to see these guys taking off and getting this amount of respect at this level.

I normally don't buy growlers but Half Acre's Animal Print (Mexican Hot Chocolate variant) is amazing.

Still assuming you work for the brewery since 90% of your posts in this thread are related to it, so please provide the feedback that Alemerica is a terrible name for a beer. Thanks.

It's a good name. We've had no complaints since distro 3 years ago.

The art is bad. Why does the Alemerica flag only have two hops? Are their only two states united under its banner?

Does it look like Monster on purpose? Have they called you about the copyright stuff yet? Am I supposed to give it to a high schooler?
