See ya there, my man. We're aiming for 4pm, too. Had thoughts about going to Two Fools beforehand, but I'm guessing it will be ass-to-ass crowded over there.

A friend that has a brewery down here gave me a bottle of mead to take home and it was fab. Raspberry and cherry. |

For those who may be interested in Great American Beer Festival this year:
The fest takes place earlier this year - 9/20-22. They've expanded the amount of breweries that will be pouring and added a Barrel-Aged Beer Garden.
On sale times -
Public Sale: Wednesday, August 1, 10:00 AM MT
Member Presale: Tuesday, July 31, 10:00 AM MT
Join the American Homebrewers Association (AHA) by July 18 at 11:59 PM MT to be eligible for the member presale
It's a great fest but can be overwhelming if you don't have some type of plan going in. I've always had a great time, though.

So, mrs ten15 and I got tickets for the Craft Brews at the Zoo event at Lincoln Park Zoo as a Christmas gift. Kind of forgot about it until this week when the reminder popped up on my calendar.
Has anyone been to this before? Looks like it could be fun - they have an ok list of mostly local breweries and we have the VIP tickets which supposedly entitle us to some Rare pours from Revolution.

It's a law here that you have to have some sort of ticket system in place (I think selling tickets for purely open bars is illegal here), but aside from actually showing that you have that system you don't have to enforce it and most people don't actually want to.
