might go in the corner of the lot where the red stage used to be. or over where the big balloon lounge areas were by the gate. I'm assuming some by where the red stage was plus where they had them last year. I figure there'll probably be more than one area for them |

ive still somehow never seen Nine Inch Nails despite wanting to for a really long time, last time they were here they played a crappy venue and that's the only time they've been here in like the last 10 years. I kind of keep forgetting that I'm seeing them with all the other great artists but I'm really excited about that

I'm the same way with James Blake. Only ever saw him the year he played the Blue stage at P4K and that was a looooong time ago. Keep forgetting he's on this.

we needed a place to hide from the cold after Aphex last year and met up there. really great drinks and Star Wars marathon on TV. good times were had by all.
would do again but it looks like the fest is gonna go til closing time this year.

I think someone in this thread mentioned possibly setting up a fb messenger group for communicating with others attending the fest... is this a thing we're still planning on doing?

With Andy Stott officially removed from the schedule, seeing that gap in there that late in the day makes me think that a lot of people will just leave, instead of sticking around for Jamie XX
80 minutes with nothing going but the yellow stage and the art between 11pm and 12:20 am seems like a bad idea

i think it's more likely that they replace Andy than Sky for that exact reason.
but at this point it'd be a no namer or a repeat act.

i don't think any BLACKIE set I ever see will top the one year he won a contest to have a prime spot on the main stage at free press summer fest, right before some big act. ive never seen a more horrified crowd in my life it was incredible |

oh hey my one local band recommendation if anyone makes it in time for them is Deep Cuts on Saturday. I like them a whole lot they come recommended and I could see them being a band with some buzz when they finally put out an album
