Oops I just spend $45 on the purple/white marbled coloring variant of High Violet i spent a silly amount of money on records last weekend lol i wanna support Bucket o Blood cause those dudes rule and are the definition of a small business. but their discogs was slightly out of date and i had my heart set on an AFI record that was already sold. so instead i bought Midnight and Sightless Pit from Bucket -- and then i hopped over to Reckless Records' used catalog and found like 3 other AFI records I wanted  hi i have no impulse control, AMA |

My shop guy texted me that since I live down the block he left my records in a socially distant way. So now I own Modern Vampires of the City on 1st press white and De Stijl in an original misprinted form. You can order good albums here and support them but not the Sudan Archives album I am buying that when I get paid on Friday |

While i'd usually stan for VMP, it's worth noting that its highly unlikely you'd get the album by release day if you order from them. I ordered the standard from secretly store, but I kind of wish I had gone that indie exclusive. |

Contemplated the black variant of Fetch The Bolt Cutters. Then pre ordered the “pearl” one from Bullmoose. Canceled it when VMP announced the purple one, and now Barnes and noble has an exclusive gold pressing. Still happy I’m sticking with the VMP one, I think it goes best with the cover.

This morning I asked Alexa to play the album, twice, because the first time she played something else.
Both times I inexplicably said "bolt cutters" in a Scottish accent. I've never done a Scottish accent.

I almost didn't get it because of this but then I pictured a universe where I didn't buy it, this limited release sells out, it goes for $300 online, and I one day find it in a record store for $40 and get excited because it's so cheap so I just bit the bullet and skipped the extra steps |
