Record store day has been split into 3 separate dates, Aug 29, Sept 26, Oct 24. The releases will be spread across those dates. Should get an updated schedule soon.

Pretty sure it’s going to be a VMP Anthology boxset. Those things run for around $250-$300. Not sure if I’m going to shell out the $$$ for it?

Some VMP tips:
1. Hit the swaps early if you're not into the record of the month.
2. If you like the RotM and there's a swap you want, add an add-on track for a month to use as a swap
3. The Classics track is pretty much always good.
4. Be skeptical of the pricing of exclusives. Some of them are ridiculous.

I'm on the essentials track because I wanted that edition of Let It Die when I first saw it on their site like 2 years ago and it's still available. My understanding is that you can switch/pick and choose when you want?
Also I am already skeptical of the exclusives pricing but I spent $47 on a single LP repress of When the Pawn so like I said, world's easiest mark

It didn’t even make me take Feist as a swap, I was able to start my subscription with that as my first pick. As much as I like the Steve Nicks record available now I’m more than comfortable making that a swap later on. |

It was limited to 10,000 or something like that and it sold out. With this level of “collectible” you would be surprised. There’s a lot of bummed out heads who just got their summer tour refunds too. |

has anyone had an issue with a record not spinning on their player? I was about to try and play one and it kept getting caught ever so slightly by what looked like a small amount of excess plastic around the edge

Not sure how to fix it, in my case I just leave the cover open when playing. |

Pink Floyd have dropped at least two boxed sets at similar price points and they sold well. Plus there's that Woodstock thing that came out this year that could have been an amazing digital release but they decided to put it on FIFTY CDs instead, to sell it to the olds. |
