  :format(jpeg):mode_rgb():quality(40)/discogs-images/R-2882202-1598539168-3900.jpeg.jpg)  :format(jpeg):mode_rgb():quality(40)/discogs-images/R-1183972-1327281903.jpeg.jpg) par for the course, the dexter gordon tone poet release is one of the best-sounding records in my collection the leonard cohen is a '70-or-so pressing that i probably overpaid for, but it has been on my list for a really long time and couldn't resist running into it the way i did the other 3 were bought under a myriad of influences that happen to be listed in "feel good hit of the summer" I've been obsessed with Stage Fright all year, since the new remix/reordering. Would seriously consider ranking it ahead of Big Pink - but still probably not ahead of the Brown Album. Eh, either way is splitting hairs tho. All three are basically perfect. |

Even though I have already been pounding my credit card in its tender pink butthole all week long...
...I pulled the trigger on the Brilliant Adventure 1992-2001 boxed set. I managed to stack deals and get it for about $60 under MSRP, though.

My wife also got me 'Beastie Boys - Music' which looks like a companion to their book, it's a comp of their best known songs.

Having a long hard work at the box set Cut Copy put up this morning for preorder. $160 is steep but it's also the first time In Ghost Colours and Zonoscope have been pressed since they came out so it might be worth it?

Purchased the 2LP collector's edition of Ants From Up There and they sent me duplicates of the first disc. Reached out to them but since it is sold out I'm not super hopeful of getting the matching variant of the second disc.

i bought a copy of gram parsons' Grievous Angel over the weekend and in the sleeve was an album review in dutch clipped from a newspaper. i also picked up the singles for dinosaur jr's "start choppin'" and primal scream's "loaded", among a handful of other things. not a bad haul.

Went to Lost and Found Records in Knoxville and found a few things:
Prince - Sign 'O' the Times
Warren Zevon - s/t
Was (Not Was) - Out Come the Freaks (8 bucks? Sure, why not)
Also at the Circle Jerks show I went to last week, a merch guy had some random records in a box for sale, I was pleasantly surprised to find Gang of Four's Solid Gold, so I bought that.

They’re going to be in Madison tomorrow and I’ll probably check it out, looks like they’ve done events at Bungalow by Middlebrow This was a huge success. Got a pink variant of Puberty 2 for $20, 10th Anniversary Edition of Bon Iver, Bon Iver for $10, and a copy of 22 A Million for $15. All records I had been meaning to purchase for a while. There was a lot more stuff in there that I didn’t really recognize but seemed good, some color variations of Punisher that sell for a lot I think, and some other various things. Would definitely recommend checking out, I don’t think any item cost more than $30 that I saw. They’ll be ad Bungalow on Thursday |

Extraordinary Machine finally getting a vinyl pressing later this year from vinyl me please. I have all of their Fiona Apple pressings and they are all good to great so I have high hopes for this
