I also told a coworker about this over lunch and he said it was my own fault for thinking it was a good idea

I've been craving Costco pizza but I guess non-members can't use the food court anymore. Some say if you pretend to be there for the pharmacy you get still get a slice but haven't tested it out yet.

I've been craving Costco pizza but I guess non-members can't use the food court anymore. Some say if you pretend to be there for the pharmacy you get still get a slice but haven't tested it out yet. they legally have to let you in to use the pharmacy or the optometrist without a membership so its a pretty easy workaround. the move used to be to just waltz in through the exit but my costco has doubled up on receipt-checkers that i think would nab you. however, i bought my chicken bake legally with the use of a costco membership

Had my first chicken bake experience yesterday and throughly enjoyed it Also apparently the chicken bake/hot dog combo is a thing people do and I also hate that it sounds intriguing....

I came close to doing it the other day but it just seems so so stupid that I can’t quite bring myself to Think I would be more inclined to do it in the comfort of my car than right in the middle of the food court but its only Costco *shrug*

I went into a Sams Club for the first time in a while the other day and got a slice of za and it wasn't as good as the Costco slice of za
edit- just to clarify, i did not go in for the sole purpose of eating that slice

If someone buys you a costco gift card (which you can only get into costco, so a member has to get it I guess), you can go in and shop without a membership.

We have a Sams Club in our town, but no Costco.

I walked right into the food court with no problem. I think my membership has lapsed but I’m just waiting it out until we need to go next

In some states, club stores aren't legally allowed to prevent non-members from shopping for alcohol, so that may be another loophole to getting in and ordering a slice of pizza.
Edit: This is true in the following states (sorry Illinois): Arizona California Connecticut Delaware Hawaii Indiana Massachusetts Michigan Minnesota New York Texas Vermont

Edit: This is true in the following states (sorry Illinois): Arizona California Connecticut Delaware Hawaii Indiana Massachusetts Michigan Minnesota New York Texas Vermont The Costco in Brooklyn just circumvents this by selling liquor in a separate store next door (that said Emma and I mooch off her Dad's membership - we bought all the liquor for our wedding there)

I tried a chicken bake for the first time last night. I'm a convert. Practically had to fight off my kids trying to steal it from me.

Also Costco only just started selling alcohol in Colorado stores last year or maybe the year before and the rollout has been super slow. Most recent visit and they finally have a full selection of beer, wine and liquor so 2024 is officially going to be a decent year.

Costco consistently has the best liquor prices I can find and it's not particularly close. They don't always have my preferred brands stocked but when they do it's such a come up. Hopefully the same for you.
