Just went to Costco, got there 5 minutes before it opened. The entire lot was already full, blows my mind

I haven’t used this recipe specifically but I did try the one I posted a couple pages back in this thread. It turned out really great and it’s super easy. I really like the Trader Joe’s pizza dough and it was the perfect consistency for this.

Folks welcome to the first installment of Chvrchbarrel and Bosma review a bread tube. My name is Bosma and I’m here to review a bread tube today.
I don’t know what’s more depressing, the fact that I saw an Instagram ad for a bread tube and purchased it within 24 hours, or that when I left a little early for work this morning and told my wife it was to buy a new bread tube she didn’t question it.
Anyways to start, a review of the crust:
When I hear that something has a bagel crust I expect a mix of crisp and chewy. I do not expect it to be dry and just chewy. No crunch whatsoever, despite the exterior being burnt. I haven’t had an actual bagel from Einstein brothers in a long time, are they all like this?

I will post more collected thoughts when I get back to my desk but this is a v underwhelming menu item
Bosma is right that it is dry and chewy, but also somehow gooey? I really like EB’s Asiago cheese bagels which is clearly what this is supposed to be but it’s just a bland hunk of bread with some Asiago sprinkled on top. Doesn’t translate

The filling could be good but when there’s no texture difference whatsoever in the entire bite it’s hard to really say
One thing is for certain: this bread is tube

It’s confusing because it works on almost no levels yet I ate the whole thing

The bread tube needs to be thinner or just have a crunchier exterior, and they need to use a cheese sauce instead of a melted cheese. The chicken bake's biggest advantage over this is the caesar sauce.
Too much dry bread plus a gooey, stringy cheese makes each bite of the bagelrito consistently horrible. Mushy peppers with mushy eggs with limp bacon bits with huge chunks of sausage.
The toasted asiago cheese on the outside should really wrap all the way around the bread tube as well. None of this "sprinkled on top" shit
I also ate the whole thing.

I drove 3 miles in the opposite direction of work to the first Einstein Bagels location in my Google Maps. It turned out to be inside an academic building on the UMKC campus so I bailed and went to the second Einstein Bagels location in my Google Maps. I was 15 minutes late to work.

Mine was upsettingly wet inside. There was a sort of spicy sauce that had the consistency of curdled sour cream

Mine was upsettingly wet inside. There was a sort of spicy sauce that had the consistency of curdled sour cream i will quote this to reiterate that this product does manage to be both dry and wet

One of my coworkers asked how my day is going and instead of replying with “pretty good!” Or “not bad how about you?” my brain communicated to my mouth “Tried that new bread tube from Einstein Bros!”
So I might need a new job
