Last time I tried to get lunch at Costco I walked in and got in line at the food counter and as I went to order some gigantic fat woman slammed her cart into me and started screaming about how I cut the entire line. Apparently there's some unspoken protocol that everyone in line with a cart checking out is also in line for the food court despite them being like 25+ feet apart and having visible separate lines. Never went back. The clientele at Costco is too irritating to deal with.
"You weren't in line?"
"BACK THERE!!!" waves hand over at normal checkout and all the people buying carts full of 100 fruit snacks and stuff.
"That's... not for food?"
"IT'S ALL THE SAME LINE YOU CUT EVERYONE HERE!!!"

Yeah my reaction. Then all these other people with carts who had just left the checkout rushed in behind her and insisted they were all in line too. Place is a freakshow Meanwhile there was a second line where nobody had cart and she didn't bother harassing it. |

My friend wants to go see a comedian at Zanies tomorrow so I just listened to his album from like six years ago to see if I wanted to go and he did a bit about how he gets his eyes checked at Costco and always gets there early so he can have a chicken bake, and the crowd went apeshit for the chicken bake.
