Funny, I was kinda thinking mariota would fit that bill. Or like....Andy dalton? I'd legitimately say the Bears are better off giving one of those two a shot over Trubisky. Maybe even Cam Newton. Nick Foles might be available too, though I think his contract is kind of rough. At the very least they should bring in one of those guys to compete in preseason. |

Bears need to bring someone in to compete with Mitch next year. Titans have written the blueprint on what to do when you have a shaky QB situation but your team is built for contention. I think that blueprint only kind of works with Derrick Henry. David Montgomery is no Derrick Henry. |

Maybe it’s because I am old and morphing into Abe Simpson or just a side effect of my life but I can’t bring myself to care about any of the teams left. I have more interest in who is going to get promoted to the EPL. Good luck to anyone whose team is still left.

The only thing I root hard for in the conference finals is to get at least one cold weather game. If I have to sit in 20 degree Chicago weather I dont want to see a conference finals with people in the stands in shorts. I can deal with the SF home game just because I could never begrudge Jimmy G any of the finer things in life. He deserves happiness.

The big question is if he can come back from this last injury. I would be wary af to sign him, but I could see him having a good season or two more somewhere else. 50-50.  |
