They also say Electric Wizard is a U.S. exclusive, which doesn't mean that much since they've been over here a lot over the past 2-3 years. about as technically true as Psycho getting them last year as exclusive after they had just played everywhere the year before. metal fests like to stretch that definition a lot. i'm still pretty damn impressed at how they pulled some of those names off. Lack of Psych Fest this year probably helped them a lot in terms of the heavy acts (Sleep, Boris, etc.) |

on one hand I have a lack of camping fests in my life having not been to Roo, but on the other I'd much prefer it to be in FFF's location with the Nites thing added on.
I really just miss the Nites thing that was so much fun.
but I'm very in for SoS. Great line-up with a lot of great gets. as far as I know Electric Wizard hasn't played Texas in a long time and they weren't a get I expected. YYY's took me by surprise too and I'd love to see them. Grizzly Bear is a big mark on my to see list, haven't seen them. Honestly really love the line-up. Only complaint is that the smaller lines get a little bit weak

Not sure if they're up your alley, but you should check out Hiss Golden Messenger. They're one of my favorite bands that I've started listening to in 2017.

Just a heads up for anyone going to mamby, they updated the set times. I'm a little mad because I finally made a decision to see Todd Terje and I wanted to see the last 15 minutes of Cut Copy, but now that isn't possible  |
