The festival basically just alternates bands every other year lol

I hope Riot Fest doesn't waste a headlining slot on Panic at the Disco.
Andrew McMahon seems to have realized he can make more money touring as a different band every year.

Also "performing songs from" several different albums is just a regular Blink set.

I know multigenre festivals are on the decline and stuff like this is where the industry is now but I think this pretty much exemplifies the issue with these niche festivals -- how the hell are you gonna book an interesting lineup from a limited pool of artists year in year out.

I hope Riot Fest doesn't waste a headlining slot on Panic at the Disco. I thought this band was done forever when it announced it was done, a month and a half after I and the better have finally saw them, at the UC stop of the Viva Las Vengeance tour. When we were young must have offered Urie a briefcase of cash and a trip on a private jet to play the fest, in sort of the same way that LSU offered Brian Kelly a briefcase of cash and a trip on a private jet to get him to leave ND mid-season.

Brendon Urie is in his 30s, there was never any chance he was done cashing PAtD checks. He basically took celebrity paternity leave.

Brendon Urie is in his 30s, This actually blows my mind a bit. I first heard of these guys because in middle school I really wanted to go to the Nintendo Fusion Tour to play the new Zelda and they were one of the bands playing, so I tried to convince myself to like them despite that I knew I'd spend their set playing Zelda anyway Anyway that feels so long ago and now I'm in my 30s wild to think that guy wasn't that much older than me

The Ting Tings! Really hope that's part of a larger tour. We've gotten our kids into them - that'd be a fun show to take my daughter to.

Is Garbage big in Mexico? Love seeing them billed so high.
