Zion going super Saiyan and scoring 17 in 3 minutes was the most exciting moment of the season so far and then the Pelicans pulling him right after that was the most disappointing moment of the season

Just to throw some good news into this otherwise very sad NBA week, Oladipo comes back tonight. I know I'm a lone Pacers fan in a sea of Bulls fans in here (and we play you guys tonight) but he's such a joy to watch on and off the court. Excited to have him back.

You guys are gonna be so dangerous if/when Oladipo is fully back to his old self. I love basically everyone on your team.

i loved having oladipo on the thunder, but always felt like being on the same team as westbrook was holding him back.

interested to see how this shakes up the eastern conference standings. 2-6 are all so close. he should make them better but I imagine there will be some growing pains.

Yeah no doubt. Pacers fans who think he's gonna come in and instantly make us world-beaters are kidding themselves. But if he can get back up to his old self by the end of the season I think we'd be a real shot to make the ECF.

Crazy that two of the bucks, raptors, sixers, heat, celtics and pacers will be a first round out

pacers are real good
east is stacked this year huh; i would think that of those two the heat and maybe the celtics? (purely based on me not trusting the heat guys in the playoffs and kemba)

I think Heat and Celtics are going to end up the 4 and 5 seeds so one of them will make it out

Nice to see Oladipo hit that 3 near the end of regulation, but the refs didn’t call a very blatant foul on the Bulls’ last possession.

Definitely. At the same time it seemed like Lavine decided to try to sell the foul instead of getting a good shot up which is risky as hell in crunch time.

I mean the Bulls got the rub of the green down the stretch there...was defs a foul there but the refs were pretty generous at the end of the game overall to Chicago.

do you guys think he's been playing hurt this year or actually isn't very good I'm inclined to lean towards the former but also I've watched like 3 Bulls games this year since my reddit streaming computer broke down

The Athletic had a write-up about him playing hurt a little while back, but no one is forcing the issue of him missing time, so he just sucks right now.
Also figured LaVine would get a bench nod simply because the game is being played in Chicago, but lol no.

I think Lauri being not good his entire career is pretty good evidence that his poor play is not entirely injury related.
Having one skill and not even being particularly great at that skill is a good predictor of NBA uselessness.

He's taken a pretty clear step back this season. I think that lines up with him being injured but not hurt badly enough to be taken completely out of the lineup.

There is a version of Lauri that is good and I don't trust that Boylen will ever allow that version to exist.

Sixers roster is so fucked. Not enough shooting or playmaking. Instead of building a natural team around their stars they broke the bank on insurance for Embiid that hasn't even panned out well. The team has enough to talent to win a lot of games but nothing is meshing and they should be so much better.
