Pacers looking like Rose-era Bulls right now. Looked great first game, easily overwhelmed throughout rest of series.

Heh. I was just trying to add some fuel to your jinx. The Pacers just seem to have more energy than the Cavs from what I've seen

Can't wait to see all the #hottakes about that shot of LeBron walking back on defense in the fourth quarter.

This game has been ugly and nerve-wracking and I can’t stop watching.

Not sure there's a better way to introduce Simmons/Embiid to the NBA playoffs... so long as no one gets hurt

These Jazz unis are eyesores. They have to be the most divisive jerseys ever. Most Jazz fans seem to love them (myself included), but I've even talked to a lot of non-Jazz fans who really like them as well. But probably an equal amount of people share your opinion on them.

did you watch the last two minutes of the game? the thunder got the ball like 5 times on one possession and missed every single time. there was even a video review that got them the ball back again, and they still could not make a basket. sure, they were trying to get that foul on the last three and surprisingly didn't get it, but then after that took forever to foul the jazz.
they had all the chances in that final minute or two to get on the board and blew it.

Agreed. Jazz deserved to win that game, but OKC absolutely butchered those last two minutes. Steven Adams was unstoppable on the glass and they couldn’t take advantage of the extra chances.

Yes, I watched the game. But it’s hardly surprising that they missed all of those shots when you have a 29% three-point shooter chucking up most of them (including several air-balls). Russ shot 19 threes last night in all and made 7 of them, so he actually had a relatively good night (for Russ) at 37%. Paul George even said it in the post-game interview. The Jazz packed the paint with Favors and Gobert and forced OKC to beat them from the perimeter. Outside of one outburst from PG (game 1) and one from Russ (game 5), the Thunder hadn’t proven they could consistently make those shots throughout the series. So the Jazz played their strategy perfectly, especially with Melo checked out for most of the game and being replaced by another non-shooter in Grant. Quinn is a better coach than Billy Donovan and the Jazz are a better basketball team than the Thunder and that’s why the series played out the way it did. There’s no “fucking up” about it. That said, the Jazz need Rubio back if they’re going to be competitive against Houston.

so you'll take the position that the thunder actually didn't fuck up by missing 6 shots in one possession with the season on the line? cool.

so you'll take the position that the thunder actually didn't fuck up by missing 6 shots in one possession with the season on the line? cool. I mean, you don’t expect them to miss all 6 of those shots. But they were low-percentage shots that the Jazz forced them into by packing the paint and recovering on D after each missed rebound opportunity. They showed a lot of discipline on that possession by continuing to get back into defensive position, instead of getting frustrated about not securing the rebound. They do deserve some credit for that. Most of those 6 shots were 3s by (like I said) a bad 3-point shooter in Russ or a guy who was having an awful shooting night in PG. I believe the other 3 guys on the court at that point were Adams, Felton and Melo, but none of them attempted a shot during that stretch.

A bunch of those threes they were stepping into after offensive rebounds. Those are really high percentage shots.

But I was surprised they settled for the threes as much as they did. I thought they would try to put pressure on Mitchell with the fouls and Gobert at the rim.

such a high last night coming off the jack white show in dallas, then heading to a bar after to see the last few minutes of the thunder game and such a low having the season end on that note. man, i didn’t even want to talk to anyone after that.

Early word is that Rubio will be out for 10 days or so. Not ideal.

Bulls would have been that team if not for Rose's knee.
