not sure if i prefer the frigid temps with sun or warmer temps with no sun. Leaning towards sun here Eh, yesterday somehow the inside of my car windshield froze while the outside was fine. So I'll stick with the warm temps and no sun.

This weather lately has had me thinking about and planning all the layering combinations I have in my closet because my classroom is so cold.
And then I come to school and kids are wandering around in midriff tanks like it's summertime.

We are almost definitely getting a condo in LA later this year and snowbirding it from here on out now that we're both pretty much working remote. I can handle the cold for the most part but we can't do the no sun for a month thing anymore if we don't have to.
So yeah the answer is frigid temps with sun is better.

I was reading an article earlier today about how spring is arriving so early in parts of the United States, and, like, I know climate change is bad, but I'm ready for winter to be over. Also, it's not like there's anything I can do now to delay the impending spring and all the climate change problems inherently involved in that, so whatever. Bring on spring.

got this to look forward to tonight: a derecho is forecast with widespread damaging winds and embedded swaths of significant severe gusts from 80-110 mph, centered on parts of Oklahoma this evening into tonight. Embedded tornadoes are anticipated as well.

Dark Sky was really good, but then it got bought out and integrated into the Apple Weather app, so that's all I use.

anyone particularly like their weather app on their iphone? I like MyRadar for, well, radar. It’s not that useful for general weather, but it’s good for tracking incoming storms.

I've turned on the AC upstairs for the last two nights. I don't think I would have been able to sleep otherwise.

I’m too stubborn to do it. We’ve been opening our windows at night and it gets cold enough, but it’s pretty toasty during the day. I’ve been hanging out in our basement where it’s roughly 20 degrees cooler. Thinking if I can hold it out for two more warm days I can probably have the air off for most of the month of April. I have become my parents

Yeah we have crappy air circulation upstairs, so I've just turned on the fans the last couple of nights. Like thebosma, it's at least 10 degrees cooler automatically downstairs, so we can just cool off there for a bit

Doing OK with fans over here so far. The elliptical is upstairs though and I'm dreading the day it'll be too hot to use without the a/c on. I hate a/c.

The super removes our window units every autumn and it’s way too early to have had them reinstalled for this year. I thought it was going to be low 80s today but it ended up being at least 85°, maybe close to 90°. Should have at least instituted Closed Blinds Protocol but I didn’t think of it until it was too late to do any good. I love a/c and would have zero qualms turning it on today.

Can't believe that after this incredible week of weather this rain is gonna come on Sunday and fuck up the Greek Easter lamb roast. Fingers crossed that it somehow holds off.

would have been great if this weather hit any other time but the tax deadline. Still found time to drink outside twice this week so I am not too upset about it.

I remember the first time I was in a storm with golf ball-size hail. I was a kid, I thought it was incredible. I wanted to put some in the freezer.

Yesterday was the most rain that has fallen in one day in Denver since 1973. Pretty close to being the most seen in the city since the 1920s.
My running trail is completely underwater.
And it's still raining!
