i missed a show i won tix to for last night because of tornado warnings and hail and storms :–( nothing great (rival sons / record company / starcrawler), but i really wanted to see starcrawler. at least i wasn't out any money.

Since I’ve been paying attention, I think the only show they’ve ever rescheduled was Decemberists in 2018. Since most of the shows are free, there’s less pressure to reschedule when there’s a cancellation (more often due to a thunderstorm with lightning). |

And it just clicked with me that I am flying to Harrisburg PA tomorrow and the cloud even extends that far, and I now have to hope it clears out by tomorrow. Good times.

It was worse today, for sure. AQI went up to 283 or so. There was a period for a couple hours in the early afternoon when it became significantly darker and oranger - unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. Truly otherworldly. That said, I think the color in that NWS Twitter video is slightly exaggerated.
