Wrong thread of course, but I wonder what Louder than Life is doing about their NIN show.
This is a double downer for Mrs. C1916, but I'm perfectly happy with Slipknot.

This makes me wonder if Morrissey was always the plan for Thursday or if that was a contingency for not having someone as big as NIN as a replacement on Sunday
Either way, probably ouughta have an early dinner before the preparty in case RF has to go meatless that night.
Also, I'm not too sad about Slipknot. I've never seen them, so it could be fun.

I hated the last nin set at riot fest I can't imagine slipknot isn't at least as good it better than that set

They gave a 3 day and Sunday ticket holders access to Thursday now as well, and they're selling tickets for Thursday too. This bothers me more than it probably should. They've been pimping this preparty as something special for people who bought tickets to the 2020 event and held onto them and now they are selling tickets to it. |

They gave a 3 day and Sunday ticket holders access to Thursday now as well, and they're selling tickets for Thursday too. This bother me more than it probably should. They've been pimping this preparty as something special for people who bought tickets to the 2020 event and held onto them and now they are selling tickets to it. The proceeds for those tickets are going to various charities, if that helps your thoughts on the matter. |

I'm more inclined to make an attempt to attend with Slipknot playing than I was with NIN. As Krentist mentioned, last NIN set at Riot was a shitshow.

I’m only going Sunday but my main selling point was Bungle so as long as they don’t drop out I’m still in. I would never pay to see Slipknot but I’m down to see them since I’ll already be there. Could be fun.

one of the gals that the better half went to catholic high school with, had a now late older brother that was the executive director for a long time for the main charity that is mentioned with respect to the 9/16 show. Good for them, because they did and do great work (in reply to munk).
I am more than ok with slipknot replacing the trapper kept nin, because I would never think of paying money for slipknot's own show. and my main sunday viewing is going to be mr bungle and body count.

I'm pretty sure the last NIN Riot Fest set was the first time MPH saw me get emotional at a show. Something I Can Never Have always makes me feel all the feelings. It was a great set.

I just noticed they billed MGK above Pixies on the new poster. It's probably a more accurate representation of each of their current popularity, but I've got to think Francis won't be happy about that.
