I did not buy one, but I will say I thought about that Elon Musk flamethrower for longer than I am proud to admit

Bought a Clusterfest early bird ticket. I really enjoyed the fest last year and the lineup so I'm looking forward to doing this instead of Bonnaroo.

I've tried a bunch of different styles over the past few years and the Bose Soundsports are my faves by far. Unfortunately they're no longer being discounted like they were during the holidays. The main attributes for me are: - Comfort: I can keep these in for a long time without becoming fatigued (Mpows hurt my ears after 45 minutes or so)
- Open-ear design: These do not totally seal the ear canal, so it's easier to be aware of your environment*
- Phone call quality: I prefer to use these for phone calls lasting longer than a couple of minutes and they work much better than others earphone with built-in mics
* - I realize some people want to be sealed off from the world when listening to music. I prefer to be able to hear some of the outside world if I'm on the street or riding the subway.Additional pros include the sound quality being generally excellent, the thoughtful clip on the cord to keep things from tugging to one side or another and the stability, even when I get sweaty. I've had these for a couple of weeks now and I love them. The only downside so far is the battery life, but it's not bad at all. I haven't used it for calls cuz lol I'm not talking to anyone, but the difference in sound over the standard headphones is incredible.

I like thrift and consignment stores way too much.... Yesterday I got a cropped jean jacket, a shirt and a tunic, all in neat condition, for a grand total of USD12 - which is pretty crazy.
I now buy about 80% of my clothes from these stores or Ebay... with the remaining 20% being a mix of local designer boutiques, Banana Republic, and discounters such as TK Maxx

New computer speakers. Since I listen to a majority of music while I'm at my home office desk, I figured it was finally time for an upgrade.

went to best buy for annihilation on bluray. walked out with a new 32" 720p tv screen for my bedroom for $99. my old one is like 6 years old and has a burnt ring around the screen and is heavy af and isnt led so it looks terrible in lit rooms.
not mad about the random decision one bit.

better half and I went to the bucktown best buy a week and a half ago, because the better half thought we needed two new window air conditioners and a new (non-corporate) laptop, but they wouldn't deliver the air conditioners if we ordered them in person, so she later on ordered them on line, so they could be delivered to our residence, and they were. picked up the new laptop yesterday; took no time to set it up.

A Tribe Called Quest. I wanted to test the bass. It's kind of crazy how much more detail I'm picking up now. My other speakers were over a decade old so it's not too surprising they were fading.

I don't know if this is a stupid thing or an emperor's new clothes thing, but I kind of love it (especially since it includes the oft overlooked yellow).
