Ham is the best lunch meat, and a nice thick slice of honey ham is one of the best overall meats in general.

thick cut ham is infinitely better than any turkey ive ever had. especially if you get anything smoky and/or sweet.
thin sliced ham for sandwiches is very forgettable but im assuming if we're talking thanksgiving we're talking the good shit

a ham with a good glaze is terrific. for me, it beats turkey on a holiday.
but that probably speaks more to my family not cooking the turkey right.

Ooh - I might have to get the muffaletta today. #Friday Yeah I was already looking at getting an Italian for dinner and this confirms it. idk if muffaletta even exists in the south outside of nola. But I found an independent sub shop with a "spicy italian" that will hopefully suffice. Usually I just go to harris teeter which is a carolina (maybe more idk) grocery chain that makes bomb subs but I'm going to branch out. |
