leftover ham is way better than leftover turkey too I was so infuriated by thanksgiving chicken that I missed this and actually disagree. Leftover turkey is the best part of thanksgiving. Leftover sandiwches for days. Traveling for Thanksgiving this year so not gonna be able to have any leftovers and am already sad okay so my mom does homemade egg noodles every thanksgiving, and we do the traditional "go back to the kitchen at 8pm and eat leftovers," except she buys packs of hawaiian rolls just for this, and we make sliders out of leftover turkey, stuffing, gravy, potatoes, and noodles. it is the best part of thanksgiving, hands down. once the leftovers are depleted where this sandwich cannot be made, the leftover turkey goes WAY downhill for me. very underwhelming on its own and i think the leftovers have a tendency to dry out quicker, idk.

The noodles go on the sandwich? Wild. I still don't care for ham, but I got some ham at Caputo's a few weeks ago that was sliced paper thin and the texture could only be described as silky. Damn good ham.
