Any tips on how to start this game out? Never played an AC before The only thing is that the location of your airport, plaza, and river mouths can't change. Make sure you choose an island that has a set of those you like. After that, honestly, don't worry about anything. This is a game of seasons. Find what you find, but this is meant to be a place you can check in on for years. Get to know your neighbors, fish when you feel like it, and the Happy Home Academy knows nothing and don't trust them at all. |

Any tips on finding more iron nuggets? I'm stuck at like 6 and need 30 to upgrade the shop. I think they only come out of the rocks with is frustrating since I can only grab like a few a day.

Go buy a Nook Miles Ticket from the ATM machine (2,000 Nook Miles). Go to the airport and use that ticket. Collect additional iron from those rocks.

Dig a few holes behind you to prevent yourself from backing away from the rock. Hit that rock as fast as you can.
Same with the money rock (on any given day one of rocks will generate money).

Also, for the code to let other people visit, is it that long like 16 digit code, or is it the shorter code they give you if you ask at the airport? Not sure what people have been using.

I really tried my hardest to learn everything about how this game works on my own, but this was one thing I was very happy to learn before I really got going. It will make things much easier for you. |

The longer friend code allows you to add people to yours friends list/travel when their gates are open/communicate with them/send gifts. |
